I Took a Fall – I’m OK and It Got Me to Thinking – FB Live Video

I hope you are having a wonderful autumn/spring!  The other morning, I was out walking my dog on her 20-foot-long trail leash and it was still fairly dark.  There are no sidewalks in my neighborhood and there was a car parked on the street, so I had to walk in the grass to get around it.  One wrong step, and before I knew it, down I went!  I was ok,I Took A Fall I Took a Fall – I’m OK and It Got Me to Thinking - FB Live Video Leah and Annie on the trail and, to my dog’s credit, she did walk back to check on me before resuming her walk.

(This is a picture from this summer of me and Annie with her trail leash, on a trail that had an osage orange tree tunnel.)

This event got me to thinking – ten years ago I would have never been out on a walk at 5:45 am, I would have never even had an athletic dog, and a fall, well, let’s just say it would ruin my day, if not the next two weeks. How my reality has changed! Because of my recovery, I’m not only able to be so active with my dog, but, because of the martial arts training I have been doing to “receive” the ground, I just rolled right out of it! I amazed myself!

I am writing to you about this to give you hope: recovery is not only possible – it’s within reach!  I have actually been talking to people all over who have recovered, not only with my method but others as well.  This week I will be doing a FaceBook Live video about “The Ways People Are Recovering from Fibromyalgia” on the free support group, Freedom from Fibromyalgia: Fibro Natural Recovery Support.  It will air live at 2:00 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 11th.

To join in, just request approval to the group, and once you’ve been approved go to the Files section to get your free MP3 of my guided meditation recording “Optimal Health,” which I sell on my website every day for $19.95.  If you can’t make it live, no worries, as it will stay up in the recordings.

We are having a lot of fun in this group, and sharing a lot of tips and useful info too!  Not only can I not wait to see you there, but I can’t wait to hear about YOUR recovery story!!

Yours in joy and health,

Leah

L1T: Leah’s 1 Thing – Spring

Spring is a good thing, right?

Hi! As many of you know I published a newsletter for a few years. I have decided to change the format a bit, to better communicate with you. I am pleased to introduce “Leah’s 1 Thing” to you. This will be a weekly (mostly) communication with you about what’s going on. I am very excited to be bringing you interesting information you can use!

The pros and cons of spring Spring L1T: Leah’s 1 Thing - Spring Leahs 1 thing

I recently received a phone call from one of my “graduates,” someone who is well on their way to recovery, or who has recovered. “Linda” has recovered from fibromyalgia and most of the coexisting conditions for over a year now. She even sent me a note recently about how she had been out dancing for the first time in ten years. She said the look on her husband’s face was priceless.

Linda confided to me that she wasn’t feeling as well as she had the last month. After doing some detective work of going over her food, sleep, supplements, current stressors, etc., we concluded that it was probably Spring causing the slight downturn.

For many in the Northern Hemisphere, the return of Spring can help begin an upward spiral of feeling better and better. The increase in sunlight and outdoor activities are like a tonic to the body and soul. However, due to plant and animal life reactivating, there are new conditions in the environment. This is part of what causes seasonal allergies, and can also cause a downturn in some peoples’ health.

Further, the body goes through daily, monthly and seasonal cycles of clearing. As an example, if a person wakes at 3 am consistently, it can often be an indication of liver dysfunction. That is because the liver cleanses itself during the hours of 2-4am. At the change of the seasons, our bodies change too. We are part of our environment and our environment is part of us.

Linda initially recovered using the Freedom from Fibromyalgia Method as described in my book, Freedom from Fibromyalgia: 7 Steps to Complete Recovery. She did what is known in the book as The Healing Cleanse, a combination of a therapeutic-grade probiotic and the detoxification mineral zeolite. She used these supplements at the detoxification amount for several months. (The detoxification amount is generally three times the maintenance amount.) Linda was doing the normal maintenance amount of The Healing Cleanse for the last six months or so, and it seemed fine. In the past month, she felt a worsening of symptoms, even though she had not changed her food and supplements, but she noted her stress was a little higher.

The wonderful thing about these supplements is that you can customize the amount for the way you feel. People ask me all the time how long they have to be on The Healing Cleanse. My standard answer is as long as you are seeing beneficial results month over month. In my own personal case, I did the detoxification amount for a good month and then stayed on a higher maintenance amount of two times the normal maintenance amount, for a couple of years. I continue to stay at a maintenance amount now, because of the toxins in our environment we are continually exposed to.

After this discussion, Linda decided that she should go back to the detox amount (three times the normal maintenance amount) for the next week or so, to see if she gets out of this funk. After just one day of doing this, she had already started to feel better! That’s powerful!

My husband suffered from seasonal allergies for years. It was so bad, that he had to take a prescription medication – the only prescription med he ever took on a regular basis. I started “dosing” his morning coffee with zeolites and another supplement that has helped me, an immune system booster made from the medicinal mushroom agaricus blazei, Agaricus Gold. Now he rarely even has seasonal allergies – and if he does, he just takes an OTC med, maybe once or twice the entire season.

In my own case, Agaricus Gold turbo-charged my recovery efforts. It removed the constant sore throat I had, and my lymph nodes under my jaw were no longer perpetually swollen. (These are classic symptoms of Chronic Fatigue!) Agaricus Gold is a must-have product in our home during the winter to ward off colds and in the spring to help prevent seasonal allergy symptoms.

You’re Not Going to Believe the Summer I Had

I was blind-sided by summer this year!

This year’s circumstances came as quite a surprise.  As a result of my recovery from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression, etc., I became pregnant with my miracle baby.  Now my “baby” is a seven-year-old little boy made of snakes and snails and puppy dog tails.

Unlike during the school year, my little boy woke up every day around 6 am ready to go-go-go!  He went all day straight until bedtime.  And he seemed to need my constant attention.  I never knew If I had fibromyalgia I wouldn't be learning Karate this Summer! summer You’re Not Going to Believe the Summer I Had Karate with my son

me.  (Here we are bouncing on the new trampoline!)  In all honesty, we had a difficult time finding our groove during the first half of summer.

I decided to “give up” on getting much done, and I focused on enjoying the time with my son.  Even though I had cut way back on work, I was able to help my private coaching clients have major breakthroughs with their health.  (See the invitation below for a FREE initial consultation.)

We went on vacation to northern Ohio to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, swam in Lake Erie and toured Put-In-Bay.  We got a season pass to a local amusement park and rode roller coasters every week.  We also continued our martial arts training (I feel like such a bad-ass now!).  All in all, we ended up having a marvelous summer!

If you would like to take your life back from the pain, fatigue and brain fog, why not join me for a FREE consultation?

During this special session we’ll work together to:
